Coffee beans, Decaf, Favored coffee, K Cups; OH MY!

I have been to Barres Brothers Coffee Roasters in Watertown, WI before, however my husband has not. We needed to run a bunch of errands on Saturday and I did not have the week I was expecting. I had a loss of a family member on Thursday this past week and I've been processing through that.

My Dad passed away a few years ago and I frequently would share a cup of coffee with him, Laugh, share with him what happened during the week and talk about how silly my son has been. Coffee has always been something of comfort for me, so it was easy to convince my husband to make a trip very out of the way of everything we were doing Saturday.

Walking in the smells are intoxicating, like Peppy LePue in LoonyTunes floating in by smells of just brewed fresh coffee. The Shop in front offers a variety of items highlighting other vendors they have working relationships with. I wish I would have brought our son with us, however he wasn't out of bed yet...Teenagers...

As you continue to walk in you see a wall of coffee, my husband commented on the variety, and then he turned his head and saw more, a lot more, he was impressed. I was like a little kid in the candy store, or Veruca Salt from Willy Wanka and the Chocolate Factory, I want all the coffee in all the flavors.

I should have taken more pictures, however others were walking around in the shop and I wanted to be respectful. I have tried many of their flavored coffees, I try not to say who my favorite coffee roaster is. I say any coffee is my favorite, however the amount of coffee I have in my pantry from Barres Brothers would prove they are a heavy favorite in my household.

I tried convincing my husband I needed one of their Tumblers. It spoke to me; my inner coffee addict..Insert my husbands laughter here, I'm sure many of you can relate to this. I love my husband, he is my best friend and my rock. I will never admit he is right to this one subject, however I may or may not have a sufficient amount of coffee cups/mugs.

I did pick out 4 different coffee flavors Butternut Rum, Rind & Grind, Salted Caramel Brownie and White Russian. One More and I Gotta Go, I purchased a 20oz Bog Grogg coffee and let me tell you I was not disappointed! The Bog Grogg coffee, has low acidity and a great flavor profile as a cranberry coffee, it is light and well balanced and not overpowering.

As I am writing this for you today I am drinking Barres Brothers Awaken, it is their breakfast blend, boy I feel like an infomercial by talking all about coffee today. I want to be clear, these opinions are that of my own for entertainment purposes. That is it for today, I gotta go.
